Dual was created in 2000 by Mark Kingston and Rupert Trigg. Mark and Rupert had previously worked together from 1994 and their impressive combined industry expertise now stands at over 40 years.

Mark’s background is unashamedly old-fashioned creative graphic design. Starting out over 20 years ago before the advent of desktop publishing, Mark cut his teeth with paste-up, drawing boards, marker visuals and a lot of spray mount. Before Dual, Mark worked for a number of advertising agencies and design companies in and around Norwich - as a Marker Visualiser, Paste Up Artist, Senior Designer and Art Director, designing for the likes of Ladybird Books, London City Airport, Colman’s Britvic, Van Dal Shoes and even Robbie Williams to name but a few.

Rupert's route into design started nearly 30 years ago, combining a flair for all things technical as an Illustrator in the days of ellipse guides, Letraset and Rotring Pens. A change of direction came about in 1987 when he was first let loose on an Apple Mac (an all-in-one with a b/w screen!) and then with a move to Suffolk in 1993 he added exhibition stand design and build to the portfolio. Always keen on learning something new, the web came along and he embraced the new technology getting involved in the design and build of websites and email marketing. In the years before Dual, he has worked with a varied range of clients including Rover, Jaguar Sport, The Royal Mail and BAe.

The Dual team is completed with Senior Designer Chris Dyer. Chris has now worked with Mark and Rupert since 2004.  Both unreservedly consider him an integral part of the company’s longevity and success. Chris deals and liaises on a daily basis with key Dual accounts, designing for both print and web based projects and has an unearthly quality of being incredibly calm in any crisis.

Finally, a team of loyal and incredibly reliable freelancers, printers and suppliers backs up Dual - after all if they weren’t good enough, we wouldn’t use them. Our expertise means we can evaluate what is the best option for our clients and our suppliers help us achieve that time and time again.
